Tarkov EXFIL Brothers Program: How It Works and Every Reward
Patch 1.2.0.0 (October 6, 2026) added the EXFIL Brothers Program, a referral system that rewards experienced players for bringing friends into Escape from Tarkov. The veteran is the Operator, the new player is the Candidate, and both earn rewards as the Candidate progresses.
It works in every Escape from Tarkov mode. It has no connection to Arena.
Who Can Take Part
- Operator: your account must be more than 7 days old, and you need a level 30 character in any game mode
- Candidate: your account must be less than 7 days old
So the Candidate window is short. If a friend just bought the game, link up in the first week or the chance is gone.
How to Link Up
- The Operator signs in on escapefromtarkov.com and opens the EXFIL Brothers page
- On the Management tab, the My Candidates table holds a unique referral link. Send it to your friend
- The Candidate, signed in to escapefromtarkov.com, follows the link and confirms the connection
Once linked, both players get a 5% XP bonus for raids they play together, and the reward tracks unlock as the Candidate progresses. Some Operator rewards also depend on the Candidate's game edition.
Candidate Rewards
These are built to make the first weeks easier:
- 5 support kits
- 9,500,000 roubles
- 10,000 dollars
- Junk Box
- Ammunition case
- Magazine case
- Key case
- Unique Document case
- Unique Medicine case
- Unique Weapon case
- Unique Item case
- Candidate armband
For a new account, that is a serious stash. Four containers and a key case solve the early stash-space problem on their own, and the roubles cover a lot of early hideout spending. Our Hideout upgrade guide shows where that money goes furthest.
Operator Rewards
These are aimed at late progression and showing off:
- Up to 1,200 TarCoins per Candidate
- The "Shoulder to Lean On" achievement
- Up to 6 Bitcoins per Candidate
- Boot Camp Hideout set
- PMC Operator Upper (clothing)
- Unique Document case
- Unique Medicine case
- Unique Weapon case
- Unique Item case
- Operator armband
- Men in Tarkov poster
- Pulp Mission poster
- EXFIL Bros poster
The "up to" on TarCoins and Bitcoins means they scale with how far the Candidate gets, so a friend who sticks with the game is worth more than one who plays three raids. Full reward details are on the EXFIL Brothers page on the official site.
Finding a Partner
If none of your friends are starting Tarkov this week, the TarkovForge Discord has a channel for Operators and Candidates to pair up. New players get a veteran to run with, veterans get the rewards, and both get the XP bonus.
Playing Together
The 5% XP bonus only applies to raids you play together, so the program rewards actually running with your Candidate rather than just sending a link. A few pointers for Operators taking a new player out:
- Start on Ground Zero or Customs. Our quest guides cover every early task with maps
- Mark the quests you knock out together on the Quests page so neither of you loses track
- The Candidate's early quests are fast XP for both of you, so clear those before pushing anything harder
